  • Republic Day

    The 67th Republic Day of India was celebrated amidst great patriotic zeal and fervour. The

    celebration commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the esteemed Principal Sir,

    Mr. R.K. Pandey. After the flag hoisting, a special tribute was paid to the soldiers through the

    patriotic song ‘Ae Hind Ke Jaawan’ by the students of classes VI to VIII. The students

    expressed their emotions through the patriotic song. The song was followed by the speech of

    the Vice Head Boy Aviral Mehrotra in Hindi who reminded the dedication of the soldiers and

    the supreme sacrifice of the freedom fighters. He quoted one of the motivating poems of Shri

    Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Next was the speech in English by the Vice Head Girl Ananya

    Agrawal who laid emphasis on the essence and importance of Republic Day. Principal Sir

    addressed the school and shared his views on the significance of the day. His speech boosted

    the national spirit in the young hearts. The celebration concluded with the National Song

    ‘Vande Matram’.


  • Crossword Puzzle Competition

    To design, implement, and evaluate the use of crossword puzzles as an educational tool to enhance learning skills.

    03-12-2015 Class : III – V  Light plays an important role in our life. The invention of various instruments that need light to work brought up a revolutionary change in the discovery of things around the world. In the modern era, it is necessary to keep the kids aware about such discoveries.With respect to the above, our school organized a House Activity, Crossword Puzzle Competition, symbolizing the International Year of Light 2015 in the school premises. Students of Class III to V participated enthusiastically in the competition. They were provided with informative handouts ten days prior to the activity to prepare for the same. Almost all the students came prepared for the activity and performed well. The competition infused excitement and quest for learning among the students. The students who performed the best from each class were awarded with the certificates.


  • CRAFT CRAPERS

    Rightly understood the Christmas and the New Year festivals are an act of faith to resolute something new. Craft crapers an Inter House Competition was held on 21st of December, 2015 to exhibit the hidden resolutions of students. Having a resolution and diligent effort to implement in life is a step to uplift the soul of a person.

    This competition represented the innovative and linguistics skills of students of Class VI through decorating the cards as well as writing their resolutions for the upcoming New Year.

    The students’ participation of creating an effective product was exuberant. Students who have come up with flying colors are:-

  • National Standard Examination : A Window to Excellence

    National Standard Examination 2015 was conducted by IAPT in Chemistry and Astronomy in month of October. Students of Delhi Public School Varanasi have added new feather in the cap while participating in this examination. With praiseworthy rank Abhishek Bhatt and Ishika Singh of Class XII have passed the first level of the examination in Chemistry. In the same length Vivekanand and Ishika Singh have proved the virtue of their academic excellence in Astronomy. National Standard Examination (NSE), conducted every year since 1987, has become the most 'visible' activity of IAPT. It is a voluntary examination. More than 40,000 students at over 1200 centre's, most of which are in small towns and villages, appear at this examination. The participation, purely voluntary, offers an opportunity to measure one's standing against a national standard. The objective of this examination is to exalt the very spirit of scientific inclination among the students.


  • Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahyan Yojna 2015

    Tiny seeds make boundless harvest, drops of rain compose the showers. Seconds make the flying

    minutes and minutes make the hours. Touching the zenith of glory three students of Delhi Public

    School Varanasi have brilliantly charted the path of success in Kirshore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna.

    They have passed the exam while widening the future scope of new emerging talents. Vishal Anand

    [XII], Arnav Kapoor [XI], and Aryan Raj Singh of class XI have attained the success in this

    examination organized by Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore on 1st

    November 2015. Thousands of students participated in this exam that was started by the government

    of India in 1998 to exalt the very scientific aptitude of emerging talents.


  • Spelling Bee Competition

    16 th December,2015      

    OBJECTIVE : To enable students to show their talent in the field of English Vocabulary and spelling

    Participating  classes :VI-X.

    Students of Class VI-X actively participated in the Spelling Bee Competition held at SUNBEAM DALIMSS, PAHARIA.  Kanishk of Class VIII E bagged first prize in the competition .
