Name of the Activity:-- “Mock Election”<o:p></o:p>Participating Class :-VII<o:p></o:p>Subject :- Civics<o:p></o:p><o:p> </o:p>To provide first hand information about how democracy works
in our country. An Activity “Mock Election” was organized by Social Science
Department. In this activity class VII was considered as a state and sections
were considered as constituencies. From each constituency candidates who filed
their nominations contested in the election. They were given their election
symbols. They prepared their Pamphlets and Banners for their campaign. Finally
on 14th August polling was organized. All the students of class VII
had to  cast their votes for their representatives. Teachers played the
role of presiding officers and were equipped with Ballot papers,Voter List and
Marked the fingers as a proof of casting votes.. After polling Ballot Boxes
were sealed. After two days results were declared in which winners from each
constituency were-Constituency No. 1 Vyome Tiwari from VII-A, Constituency No. 2,Charulika Raman fromVII-B Constituency No. 3 Unnat Agrawal fromVII-C Constituency No. 4 Nandani Agrawal from VII-D Constituency No. 5  Aditi Mishra,  from
class VII-EConstituency No. 6 Harshvardhan from class VII-F
