Delhi Public School, Varanasi conducted the Parents’ Orientation Programme on the 28th of March’ 08. The institution opened its portals to let the new comers and their parents get a picture of how Delhi Public School, Varanasi is different in its way of grooming the saplings, so that they grow up into strong trees which will spread their boughs in all directions and make their presence felt..

The Principal presented his views as to how a parent can actually assist his offspring to come up as a strong individual who is independent and is capable of fighting his own battles to carve a niche for himself.

The Headmistress Ms. Ashoo Kalra addressed the parents and informed them about the methodology of teaching followed in Delhi Public School, which goes a long way to make the teaching learning process interesting and effective. She went on to inform the parents how the school Almanac could serve as a perfect guide for them as for the rules and norms of the school. Thus informing the parents, they were then encouraged to put across any further queries they had.

Following this, the Parents assembled in various classes, where they had an interaction with the various subject teachers. Here again all their queries were answered and they were also made aware of the specific rules and norms of the school the teaching methodology adopted et al.

They were also informed about Smart class and how they may interact with teachers and get all information about their child & school through Virtual School.

Delhi Public School, Varanasi fraternity once again stressed on the belief that education should be such that the individual is capable of differentiating between what he knows and what he doesn’t. Education enables oneself to know where to go to find out what one needs to know; and to know how to use the information once one gets it.
