Felicitation programme 2008

Felicitation programme for the students of the junior as well as senior school was held on 20^th April’ 08. in the premises of Delhi Public School , Varanasi.

All those bright little stars who toiled for the entire session burning the midnight oil while the world slept, emerged as the winners.

The Chairman of the Delhi Public School Society, Mr. Ashok Chandra visited the school on this occasion. He enumerated ways and means as to how teachers may prove to be more effective in imparting education to those impressionable minds so that they may be able to come up as complete individuals.

Thereafter the proceeding of the Felicitation Ceremony commenced with the welcoming of the guests among whom were Principal, DPS Nigahi Mr. S. S. Thaper and Principal, DPS Vindhyanagar Mr. J. Mohanty. and Chairman Sir. This was followed by lighting of the sacred lamp.

The nimble fingers of the budding artists of DPS, Varanasi enlivened the premises with their soulful presentation. Following which the children of DPS Shiksha Kendra presented a dance recital.

This was followed by an address by the chief Guest Mr. Ashok Chandra , Chairman DPS society he congratulated the teachers, and the parents for incorporating values in the children and providing such an atmosphere wherein they can bloom and spread their fragrance in all directions . He expressed his desire that DPS, Varanasi should keep on coming up this way so that in times to come it shines spreading its brilliance in all directions.

Then the achievers were awarded with badges and blue ties and blue blazer under various categories by Mr. Ashok Chandra and Mr. Pradeep Ghosh, the bright radiant smiles on the faces of the achievers was proof of their pride and joy at having achieved
