The Programme was presided over by the principal Mr. Pradeep Ghosh, Vice Principal Ms. Ashoo Kalra and the other dignitaries were Dr. Anurag Tandon (PRO-IMA) and member of BBCS Government of India, Dr OPS Maurya Reader BHU Dept and Incharge of Eye Bank, Dr. Sunil Sah (Varanasi Eye Bank Society)Dr. P.C Sharma (president IMA) , Dr. Abhishek Chandra (Eye Dept. BHU) and Dr. R.K Ojha president VOS. All the dignitaries addressed the gathering one by one and motivated students to come forward and shoulder the responsibility for this noble cause . The students were briefed about ‘Prevention of Eye diseases and Corneal Blindness’. Addressing the gathering the Principal Mr. Pradeep Ghosh explained the students about Eye Donation and said that Eye Donation is infact Sight donation.’ The programme reached its finality by vote of thanks presented by Ms. Animkha Roy. |

Varanasi Eye Bank Society in collaboration with Danik Jagran organized an awarness programme in Delhi Public School Varanasi on 29th August 2009 wherein the Chairperson Mrs. Monika Singh (Eye Bank Society) addressed the students and inspired them for a noble cause i.e Eye Donation.
