The Third and the final day, the 4th of November, was scheduled for the Senior wing of the school. Keeping in tune with 150 years of Indian Revolution, the entire programme of the evening was set to the theme of Indian Mutiny. With about 270 students participating in the show, the efforts put in by everyone came to life on stage.
With Pro VC Shri Pradeep Rajgarhia lighting the lamp, the evening took to its proceeding after the presentation of the Annual Report By Shri Pradeep Ghosh, Principal, DPS, Varanasi.
As an invocation to the Almighty, the “Vandana” was the first presentation of the evening put up by the students. The spell cast on the audience by the synchronized movements and the soulful vocal recital was visible to all present there.
The next presentation was the “Orchestra” by the budding musicians of the school. They put up a wonderful display of skills on various instruments with their rendition of raga “ Hansdhwani”.
Thereafter was the much awaited play on Indian Mutiny -Agaz-e-Azadi which had the participation of about 200 students. The light and sound extravaganza had the entire crowd mesmerized for about 45 minutes .The brilliant cohesive display of the various events that led to the Indian Independence won applauds all over. It brought back nostalgic moments of the Indian Freedom struggle and the sacrifice that hundreds of unsung heroes had made, to give us this day of Free India. The show concluded with the vote of thanks being given by Shubhi Sinha of Class.X
